Faisal described the talks he had with Kerry as fruitful and constructive as was the case for all the talks with the U.S. Secretary of State which are characterized by frankness and transparency. He said the meeting tackled a number of regional and international issues, topped by the Syrian crisis and its repercussions on the Syrian, regional and international arenas. He confirmed that Saudi Arabia is of the understanding that there is need for a clear-cut international resolution stating that nobody is to arm the Syrian regime as it has already lost its legitimacy since it has rejected the limited demands of the Syrian people, not only that, but it launches a genocide against its own people, citing that the Arab League, the Islamic Cooperation Organization and the Friends of Syria have stripped Damascus of its membership in the three organizations and that the GCC, for its part, has announced the illegitimacy of the Syrian regime. Prince Saud Al-Faisal confirmed that losing its legitimacy, the Syrian regime has lost any possibility of participation in any arrangements or playing any role in the presence or future of Syria, particularly that the Syrian National Coalition has enjoyed the recognition of the world community as the sole legitimate representative of the Syrian people and is poised to form a transitional authority to run the country. --More 19:21 LOCAL TIME 16:21 GMT تغريد
