Sharq newspaper highlighted the Kingdom's demand that all Lebanese parties stop the clashes and the Kingdom's deep concern for what is happening in southern Lebanon. Al-Madinah newspaper also called on Lebanon's people and army to unite to defend the legitimacy, reinforce the rule of law, maintain coexistence in all the Lebanese homeland and prevent enemies of Lebanon from tampering with its security and national unity. On the Egyptian domestic developments, Okaz newspaper warned of the confrontational atmosphere witnessed by the Egyptian arena and called on the Egyptian army to perform its functions to preserve the sovereignty, unity and security of Egypt.
