Erdogan confirms that clearing Taksim square from demonstrators is his duty as prime minister

Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that clearing Taksim square from demonstrators by sending police last night to restore the last gathering place for those who demanded his resignation is his duty as prime minister.
In a public meeting with his party's members in Istanbul, he said he was no longer tolerant after Saturday evening when he ordered the operation to clear up the area.
He added that the place is for demonstrators to demonstrate and go home not to occupy or sit-in.
