Australian Foreign Minister, Senator Bob Carr, decorated Saudi Ambassador to Australia Nabil bin Mohammed Al Saleh with the Medal of Shield of Friendship and Cooperation in a ceremony held here last night by the Magazine of International Australian Association. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Foreign Minister commended strong relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Australia and their enhancement in all fields. He also praised the Kingdom's leading roles and its keenness on promoting the culture of dialogue between followers of religions and civilizations, as well as the enhancement of stability and peace in the world. For his part, the Saudi Ambassador expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Australian Minister for his friendly feelings toward the Kingdom and its wise leadership, commending the strength and development of bilateral relations between the Kingdom and Australia in all fields.
