Australian Foreign Minister Congratulates the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques on National Day

AlQa'dah 7, 1433, Sep 23, 2012, SPA -- Australian Foreign Minister Robert John Carr has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the 82nd anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In a statement on this occasion, Carr commended the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the field of energy production, expressing hope to enhancing bilateral energy cooperation.
The Australian Foreign Minister also expressed his country's satisfaction over the good assessment given by the Saudi Government to the quality of Australian higher education institutions, which was reflected by sending more than 11,000 Saudi students to complete their studies in Australia.
He also stressed the shared bilateral commitment to promoting global peace and stability.
