BASF, the world's biggest chemical company, unveiled Tuesday plans to invest 10 billion euros (13.07 billion dollars) in the Asia-Pacific region over the next seven years. The group expects the investment to create about 9,000 new jobs in the fast-growing region with the company planning to shift about a quarter of its global research and development operations to the area by 2020, according to a report of DPA.
