Presided over by its Vice Speaker Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jefri, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 45th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Metad Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. The council said that the Saudi Credit and Savings Bank is to coordinate with the relevant bodies to establish credit system to secure loans. Al-Shura council approved a draft cooperation framework agreement in the fields of agriculture, livestock and fisheries between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabi and the Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Majlis Al-Shura approved the Kingdom's accession to the agreement on the postal payment services, adopted in Geneva on 12/8/2008. The council disucssed a report of the Islamic Affairs and Judiciary Committee on the annual report to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance for the fiscal year 1431/1432H. Al-Shura council listened to a report of the Housing, Water and Public Services Committee on the annual report to the Ministry of Water and Electricity for the fiscal year 1431/1432H.
