Buainain also said that such threats are an unacceptable blatant interference in the internal affairs and totally contradict the Islamic values and the principles of the United Nations. Al-Buainain called on Iran to peacefully settle disputes by ending its occupation of UAE's three islands of Abu Mousa, Greater and Lesser Tunbs, in addition to responding to the UAE calls to settle the dispute through direct negotiations or resorting to the international Court of Justice.
