At least six policemen were killed and two injured in an insurgent attack north-western Pakistan, officials said Saturday. Their convoy was targeted by rockets in Matani, 16 kilometres south of Peshawar, capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province. The target of the attack was Kohat district police chief, Dilawar Bangash, who was injured but is out of danger, police official Shakeel Ahmad was cited as saying by DPA.
