Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a meeting at the headquarters of the Turkish Prime Minister in Ankara today. At the outset of the meeting, Prime Minister Erdogan welcomed the Crown Prince in his second country, Turkey, commending the development of relations in various fields between the two countries. For his part, the Crown Prince expressed his pleasure to visit Turkey, commending brotherly relations between the two countries in light of the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to confirm these relations in the interests of the two brotherly countries and their peoples, and continuous consultation on issues of common concern. He also expressed his deep appreciation for the generous hospitality and warm reception accorded to him and the accompanying delegation since their arrival in Turkey. During the meeting, they reviewed the prospects for cooperation between the two countries, ways of enhancing them in all fields, and the latest developments in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince and His Special Adviser. On the Turkish side, it was attended by Foreign Minister Professor Ahmet Davutoglu, Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz, and Minister of Culture and Tourism Omar Chelk. Following the meeting, the Crown Prince and the accompanying delegation graced a luncheon hosted in their honor by the Turkish Prime Minister.
