Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan received at his residence in Istanbul today Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, currently on an official visit to Turkey. At the outset of the meeting, Erdogan welcomed Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirming the deep-rooted ties binding the two sisterly countries. During the meeting, the Deputy Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Minister of Defense, and the Saudi people to the Turkish Prime Minister, thanking him for warm welcome and generous hospitality. For his part, the Turkish Premier sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz a good stay in Turkey. During the audience, they exchanged cordial talks and discussed a number of issues of mutual concern to the two sisterly countries. The meeting was attended by the Turkish Minister of Defense Ismat Yilmaz and Saudi Charge D'affaires in Ankara Abdulhadi Al-Shafi.
