Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, met at his guest residence in Ankara this evening with Turkish Defense Minister Ismet Yilmaz. During the meeting, they reviewed military cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them and discussed the latest developments at the regional and international arenas. On the Saudi side, the meeting was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Minister of Foreign Affairs; Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chief of Crown Prince's Court and Special Advisor to the Crown Prince; Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Dr. Abdulaziz Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information; Dr. Mohammed Al-Jasser, Minister of Economy and Planning; General Abdulaziz Al-Hussein, Deputy Chief of General Staff; General Abdulrahman Al-Bunyan, Director of the office of the Crown Prince; Dr. Adel Siraj Mirdad, Saudi Ambassador to Turkey; and Commodore Mohammed Al-Shehail, Saudi Military Attache in Ankara. On the Turkish side, the meeting was attended by Hussein Kamal Yerdemja, Deputy Defense Minister; General Umet Dondor, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense; Murad Beyar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense for Defense Industries Affairs; Ahmet Mukhtar, Turkish ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; and Rifaat Sasmaz, Director of Strategic Planning Department at the Ministry of Defense.
