Egyptian President Heads to Brazil, Seeking Expanding Economic Cooperation

President Mohammed Morsi of Egypt, departed Cairo today for a three-day state visit to Brazil.
Leading a high-ranking delegation, Morsi is set to meet with Brazil's counterpart dilma rousseff and other senior officials. As part of his schedule in Brazil, Mursi will attend the Egyptian-Brazilian business forum, due to take place in Sao Paulo, the economic capital of Brazil.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries stand at $ 3 billion, a fact that Morsi is aiming at raising through wooing more Brazilian investments in Egypt.
