On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Advisor to and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques opened in Riyadh this evening Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Hospital. Upon arrival at the venue, he was received by Prince Khalid bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region; Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region; Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, Minister of Health; and senior ministry officials. A special speech ceremony was held to mark the occasion. In a key address, Dr. Al-Rabee'a said that his ministry is planning to design and execute 125 hospitals and 1671 health centers over the coming years, citing the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for opening and laying the foundation stone of a total of 547 health projects on the third day of the last month of the last lunar year, the ministry's history biggest event. The minister also cast light on the King's decisions last week to support the ministry's plans of pumping more than SR15 billion to establish 22 medical complexes and specialized hospitals and centers. Today's event is yet another evidence of the royal gesture of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques towards one of the sons of the founder of this country: late Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, Al-Rabee'a said. The opening ceremony was attended by a number of princes, ministers and officials.
