Saudi Arabia to Build Integrated Economic Cluster for Atomic, Renewable Energy, Desalination -Yamani

President of King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy Dr. Hashim bin Abdullah Yamani, asserted here today that the sustainable solution in the Kingdom, requires establishing an integrated economic cluster for atomic and renewable energy to generate power and desalinate water.
Achieving this goal, entails building of power plants to generate electricity out of various alternative techniques as well as building of auxiliary services and infrastructure.
Dr. Yamani was addressing a two-day seminar on Saudi Sustainable Energy, organized by KACARE, in the presence of the Minister of labor Adel bin Mohammed Faqih and Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabee'a.
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has assigned KACARE to proceed with the concept of building a credible and reliable cluster for atomic and renewable energy, Yamani concluded.
