International Islamic Relief Commission operates open heart surgeries in Sudan

The International Islamic Relief Commission, an affiliate of the Makkah-based Muslim World League, has successfully operated over the last two days a number of open heart surgeries for children in Sudan, it was reported here today.
Ihsan bin Saleh Tayyip, Acting Secretary General for the commission, said the commission's team is scheduled to stay for ten days in Sudan to perform open heart surgeries for as many as 70 children.
