Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh met here today with Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Margallo. During the meeting, they discussed means of enhancing bilateral relations in various fields and reviewed the latest developments in the Middle East. The two ministers emphasized the need to continue coordination and consultations on regional issues, as well as issues of common interest. Discussions also focused on the situation in Syria and its humanitarian repercussions on Jordan, which is hosting about half a million Syrian refugees and providing care for them, despite Jordan's limited resources. Further, the two ministers agreed on the need to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis that ends the ongoing bloodshed and preserves Syria's security and unity.
