Under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the General President of Presidency of Meteorology and Environment and President of Saudi Arabian Environment Association, opened here Sunday evening the 4th Gulf International Forum and Exhibition of Environment and Sustainable Development. The ceremony was attended by Prince Dr. Mansour bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs; Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities, and the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah. Addressing the ceremony, Prince Turki bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the King for patronizing the Forum that will be a bright spot in the process of the economic environment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that the Kingdom has made the environment as a top priority in developmental, economic and social projects. It is noteworthy that as many as 1,500 researchers and 50 speakers from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and abroad are taking part in the Forum.
