A multi-vehicle crash killed 36 people in Edo state in southern Nigeria on Friday, state media reported. The accident involved a truck, a fuel tanker and a bus, according to the Nigerian Television Authority, citing Federal Road Safety Commission spokesman Jonas Agwu. A tire from the truck hit the tanker, which caught fire, and a bus crashed into the burning tanker, killing 30 people on the bus, Agwu said, citing a preliminary report. Four people in the tanker also died. The fire spread to a mechanic's workshop, killing two children, according to a report of CNN.
