An investigation into the cause of Sunday's fatal plane crash in Nigeria's commercial capital Lagos could take a year, dpa cited Nigerian officials' confirmation in local media reports Saturday. Joe Obi, from Nigeria's Ministry of Aviation, told local media that an investigation into the cause of the loss of Dana Airlines flight 992, which plunged into a Lagos apartment block, killing all 153 passengers and dozens on the ground, could take several months. "There will be preliminary reports, but the final report will be in one year," Obi told news website YNaija, after the plane's black box was this week sent to the United States for analysis.
