Israeli soldiers Sunday arrested a child and his father from the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, while many others were suffocated by tear gas canisters during clashes on Land Day, said local sources. They said that 11-year-old Saleh Musa was arrested after Israeli soldiers raided several houses in the area. Musa's father was arrested too while he was trying to find out why his son was arrested. Violent clashes erupted between teens and soldiers in the area of Um Rukba south of al-Khader. The soldiers shot rubber bullets and tear gas canisters, leading to several suffocation cases among residents, according to a report of the State of Palestine News Agency "WAFA."
