Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces General Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan has expressed hope that Somalia will witness peace, stability and national unity for further development and progress for its people. Sheikh Mohammad made these remarks during a reception of the visiting Somali President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud here Friday, according to a report of Bahrain News Agency (BNA). Sheikh Mohammad welcomed the Somali President and discussed with him ways of enhancing bilateral relations, as well as the latest developments and other issues of mutual interest. On his part, President Hassan Shaikh Mahmoud praised the humanitarian efforts made by the UAE and its firm stand in support of the people of Somalia.
