Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities chaired here yesterday the 15th meeting of the Advisory Committee for Antiquities and Museums. At the outset of the meeting, the Committee expressed its thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the great attention paid by the State to support projects and programs concerning with the national antiquities and heritage. The Committee also praised Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense for his inauguration of the events of Madinah as the Capital of Islamic Culture because of its importance in the Islamic history. The meeting discussed topics on its agenda relating to antiquities and heritage in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
