The Council of United Nations for Human Rights adopted at its 22nd session in Geneva today a resolution condemning all forms of intolerance, violence and discrimination based on religion or belief. The resolution called on all countries in the world to make efforts to prevent violence and crimes committed against religious minorities, regardless of the perpetrators. The Council also adopted a resolution demanding Iran to fully cooperate with the United Nations mechanisms for human rights and to allow the Special Rapporteur of the United Nations on Iran to enter Iranian territory to carry out its mission and investigate violations of human rights in Iran.
