More Syrian refugees cross the border to Jordan

As many as 1707 Syrian refugees, mainly children, women and elder people, crossed the border into Jordan today coming from the troubled neighboring country of Syria, officials reported.
A statement by the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces said the border forces have provided a package of humanitarian assistance to the refugees to meet their immediate needs, including tents, food and medical services.
