A total of 3812 Syrian refugees, mainly children, women and elderly people crossed into Jordan over the past three days, according to an official source from the Jordan Armed Forces. The source said that border guard units operating along the Jordanian-Syrian borders received more than 3,000 refugees including a number of injured and sick people over the past 72 hours. The armed forces provided aid to the displaced Syrians in preparation to transfer them to the Zaatari refugee camp, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported.
