Pakistan's Prime Minister Rajah Pervez Ashraf met at his office in Islamabad today with the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer on the occasion of the end of the term of Ashraf government's tenure. During the meeting, Ashraf said his country attaches great interest to the relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, noting that relations between the two countries emanate from religious, historical and social values and based on the bonds of fraternity, amicability and identity of viewpoints on most regional and international issues. Ashraf lauded the positions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud towards the Pakistani people. He thanked the Saudi ambassador to Pakistan for the efforts he was exerting to further cement relations between the Kingdom and Pakistan.
