Jalil Abbas Jilani, Under Secretary at Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has praised the strength of relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He described bilateral ties “ideal ones” stemming from the common values of religious, historical, cultural and social bonds of brotherhood on the basis of visions and accord as regards regional and international issues. The official said the people of Pakistan have lots of respect and love for King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. “Pakistan and its people will not forget the humanitarian stances articulated by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all the difficult conditions experienced by it.” He made these remarks during an honoring ceremony hosted by Saudi ambassador to Pakistan Abdulaziz Bin Ibrahim Al-Ghadeer in Islamabad on Tuesday on the occasion of Jalil Abbas Jilani's appointment to the post of the Under Secretary at the Pakistani Foreign Ministry.
