The United States said Friday that its stands with the Syrian people as the country marks its two-year anniversary of the uprising that started against President Bashar Al-Assad. “We remain committed to supporting the coalition, both in political support and our strong and growing nonlethal support and the work we are doing to strengthen sanctions against Al-Assad regime," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland told reporters.
