South Korea's coast guard says nine fishermen have died and another is missing after their boat caught fire in frigid waters off the country's west coast. One fisherman was rescued. Authorities say the fishermen jumped off the boat after they failed to put out the fire early Saturday morning. Rescue worker arrived at the scene, but nine of the men either drowned or died of hypothermia, according to a report of the Associated Press. The coast guard says another crew member survived and is recovering at a hospital in the city of Gunsan. Waters off South Korea's west coast are barely above the freezing mark this time of year.
