Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, stressed deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America which are at the best levels in all fields. In a joint press conference with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry held here today, the Prince noted the increase of volume of trade and investment between the two countries to record figures and rates, the rise of a number of students on scholarships in the United States of America to more than 70,000 students in comparison to 7000 nearly eight years ago, and the success the two countries in facilitating visa procedures for their citizens and the duration of time up to five years, which contributes significantly to building bridges of communication between the peoples of the two countries. In a statement read at the start of the press conference, the Prince said, "I welcome U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his accompanying delegation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I have pleasure to congratulate him on his appointment as Secretary of State.
