Investigation and Criminal Search of Qassim Region police has apprehended an Arab-origin doctor and his daughter in Buraidah running an apparatus used to issue forged certificates for all purposes against big amounts of money, it was reported here today. Qassim Information spokesman Col. Fahd bin Ali Al-Habdan said the apparatus contains forgery devices, Saudi and foreign official stamps, re-confirming stamps, 32 Saudi governmental stamps, and more than 16,000 ready-made certificates for all educational levels. He added that the mastermind of the apparatus is working with a private university in Qassim and his daughter, in her 30s, assists him. The accused managed to smuggle some forfeited certificates from an Arab country and print others at his apparatus, the official said. A thorough investigation into the incident was conducted, he concluded.
