The Ministry of Commerce and Industry will hold the 1st Saudi-French Business Opportunities Forum in Paris on April 10-12, 2013, similar to other forums held by the Ministry in the United States of America, Belgium and Japan. An Official Source at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that there has been coordination with French Ministries of Economy and Foreign Trade to hold the Forum with the participation of officials and businessmen in the two countries, pointing out that it will deal with topics including trade, investment, economy, finance, health, education, energy and water. It is noteworthy that the volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to more than SR 43 billion in 2011, and the trade balance has tilted in favor of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 2009.
