GCC Ministers of Environment Hold their 16th Session

Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member States' Ministers of environment, held here today their 16th session, under the chairmanship of the GCC Secretary General Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani.
On behalf of Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz, General President of the Meteorology and Environmental Protection (PME), the deputy General President of PME, Mohammed bin Saleh Al-Shihri, addressed the opening session, pointing out that the meeting takes place to continue GCC joint action on environment domain, in the light of GCC Supreme Council adoption of the document of principles and policies to protect the environment, during its 6th session in Oman, held in Nov. 1985.
