Senior officials of member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) resumed this morning the second day of deliberations in a row of a meeting to make preparations for the two-day summit of Islamic leaders, scheduled to start in the Egyptian capital on Wednesday. They will complete discussions on topics which are listed on the Summit's agenda. The summit, entitled " Islamic World .. New Challenges and Opportunities for Growth," is being hosted by Egypt. The delegation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is headed by the Director of the Islamic Department of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Adel Mirdad to the meeting. The meeting is scheduled to approve the draft agenda and program of works for the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers in addition to a preparatory study on the draft agenda and program of the (Ministerial meeting) and the adoption of the report of senior officials.
