Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz Announces Handing-Over Ceremony of AGFUND Prize in Manila

Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz, the President of Arab Gulf Program for Development (AGFUND), announced the selection of Manila, Philippines for handing over AGFUND Developmental Prize in its twelfth year on 27th February, 2013.
AGFUND Executive Director Nasser Bakr Al-Qahtani said that the Philippine government commended Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz for his developmental and humanitarian efforts through AGFUND and other organizations patronized by the Prince, and it welcomed to host the handing-over ceremony of the Prize.
It is noteworthy that the number of projects that have been nominated for the prize since its launch in 1999 AD amounted to 1,062 projects from 130 states.
