Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received here yesterday Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Makkah Grand Mosque Imam Dr. Salah bin Humaid, representatives of Arab Ministries of Interior, Justice, Information and social affairs, as well as human rights bodies, and the Public Prosecutions, on the sidelines of their participation in the Second Scientific Forum, being held under the theme "Arab Police: Human Rights Practices in Security Organizations'. The King hailed the important role being played by the concerned ministries in maintaining peace and security on both Arab and regional levels. He highlighted Bahrain's pioneering achievements in protecting human rights within a unified society, stressing the importance of the symposium in exchanging security, legal and social expertise. King Hamad hailed the forum as an opportunity to enhance pan-Arab cooperation regarding human rights and security, wishing the participants every success, according to a report of Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
