Bahraini Prime Minister Sheikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has hailed strong historical relations between Bahrain and the United Kingdom (UK), expressing keenness for greater cooperation between the two countries in various fields. The Prime Minister was speaking as he received here yesterday British Conservative Party Treasurer George Magan. Sheikh Khalifa stressed that Bahrain has succeeded in laying solid bases for the modern civil state - thanks to the wise directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. On his part, the British official commended strong ties binding both countries lauding Bahrain's progress at all levels as well as its strategic status as a financial hub, according to a report of Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
