A fire broke out in a plaza at the Montgomery Road at around 11:00pm on Saturday night and soon spread to two adjoining plazas in Lahore city, killing six people and injuring 11 others. Fire brigade and Rescue teams reached the sight of the blaze and started rescue operation. At least forty people were rescued from the buildings where 15 to 20 families were residing. Fire fighters and rescue teams from other parts of the city were also called in to bring the fire under control, according to a report of 'Dunya' news.
