Several people were injured when two passenger trains collided on a track near a station in northern Switzerland on Thursday, AP quoted Swiss news media as reporting. The accident occurred before 8 a.m. near the station at Neuhausen-am-Rheinfall between a train traveling from Winterthur and another from Schaffhausen, according to the Swiss news portal 20min.ch. The police in Schaffhausen told 20min.ch that several people were injured in the collision, while others are still trapped inside one of the trains. A locomotive for one of the trains - a double-decker passenger train - had derailed, the report said. Rail traffic in two directions from Schaffhausen, both from Dachsen and from Jestetten, was interrupted and buses were being used instead.
