At least 10 people were injured after a passenger train and a cargo train collided in Indonesia's East Java province, Reuters quoted a rail official as saying today. Earlier, Metro TV reported at least two people were killed and a hundred injured. The passenger train was travelling from East Java's capital Surabaya to Semarang in Central Java when the collision took place near Bojonegore station. He initially said that two people were badly injured, four had minor injuries and one engineer was trapped. In later comments to Elshinta radio, he said: "Two locomotive engineers from the cargo train are badly injured, while seven passengers had minor injuries and one is trapped".
