Shiekh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Shiekh, Speaker of Majlis Ashura who is currently on a visit to Bangladesh, held talks with Bangladesh's parliament speaker Advocate Abdul Hamid in Dakka today. At the outset of the meeting, Abdul Hamid welcomed Al Al-Shiekh and the accompanying delegation, confirming the keenness of the Bangladeshi government to enhance bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its capacity as a pioneering country in the Islamic world. Abdul Hamid sent his greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premeir and Minister of Defense. He informed Al Al-Shiekh that the Bangladeshi parliament has established a friendship group with the Kingdom to work with their counterpart in Majlis Ashura to promote parliamentary cooperation between the two countries, calling on Saudi businessmen to take opportunities available in Bangladesh for investment, particularly in the fields of energy and textile industry. --More
