Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Rector of King Saud University (KSU), the General Supervisor of Prince Sultan bin Salman Chair for the Development of National Cadres in Tourism and Antiquities, members of the Chair's Scientific Committee and researchers for the Chair's activities, fruitful efforts, and outstanding scientific outputs. This came after the Prince reviewed the Chair's report for the year 2012 issued by KSU Agency for Higher Studies and Scientific Research (Research Chairs Program). The report of the Chair's achievements included its participation in three researches in global and regional conferences, issuance of two books on tourism, hotels, and heritage housing, as well as carrying out 12 specialized training courses in the field of tourism, hotel management and tourist guides, which have benefited 262 students of Faculty of Tourism and Antiquities and persons interested in tourism and antiquities sector.
