The 26th conference organized by the Islamic Propagation Centre for Latin America and the Caribbean in the city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, resumed yesterday its meetings, attended by a number of judges, academics and members of the diplomatic corps in the Islamic World. Following conclusions of its sessions, the conference made a number of recommendations which included among other issues the establishment of the Council for Education in Latin America and the Caribbean and the creation of Sao Paulo Institute for Rehabilitation and Training. The conference also urged the Muslim community in Latin America and the Caribbean to adhere to the teachings of Islam and to preserve the Islamic identity. The conference thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its works for the service of Islam and Muslims and the conference's guests, participants and contributors.
