Under the auspices of the Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, the activities of the 24th conference of Muslims in Latin America titled "The Scientific Signs of the Holy Quran and the Prophet's Sunnah" was launched here last night at the Brazilian Parliament Headquarters. The event is organized by CENTRO DE DIVULGACION DO ISLAM DA AMERICA LATINA, Sao Paulo. Addressing the opening session, Sheikh Ahmed Al Saifi, The President of the Islamic Propagation Center - the Organizing entity, reiterated the Saudi pioneering role as the first and most supportive of the Islamic works in Brazil and the world as well as applauded the Saudi Arabian generous support received by the center for its activities and action. The ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdullah Bin Saleh Al-Obaid and Dr. Ali Bin Ibrahim Al Namlah in addition to Dr. Abdullah Abdulaziz Al Muslih, the Secretary General of the International Commission on scientific Signs in Quran and Sunnah, and Dr. Adel Ali Al Sheddi, The Secretary General of the Global Center for Introducing the Prophet of Mercy, in addition to Dr. Saad Al Zuhair, the director of King Fahd Center for Islamic propagation in Argentina.
