The first gathering of businesswomen of the Gulf Cooperation Council States was concluded yesterday in the Omani capital-Muscat. The event was organized by the GCC Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Omani Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The gathering issued a number of recommendations which emphasized the importance of women's participation in the small and medium enterprises. The GCC is comprised of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain.
