Upon directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, a surgical operation is scheduled to take place at King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh to separate two five months old Saudi Siamese twins, it was reported here today. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah, Minister of Health, said that the King has ordered the transfer of their then-pregnant mother from Bisha in the southern part of the Kingdom, who was suffering medical complications, to undergo a cesarean section at an advanced hospital in the capital city of Riyadh. Following intensive post-delivery diagnosis, the twins' doctors decided to conduct the separation surgery for the twins, Abdullah and Salman, next Friday.
