Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom, has met at his office in London with Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, Director General of the Riyadh-based Saudi Press Agency. At the outset of the meeting, which took place yesterday, the ambassador welcomed the Director General of SPA, wishing him every success at the meetings he is scheduled to hold in London. The ambassador also lauded the developmental steps taken by SPA to further promote its great media role in following-up and highlighting the economic, social and cultural development in the Kingdom, underscoring the importance of SPA's enlarging the scope of its contacts with the Saudi students on scholarships abroad. For his part, the Director General of SPA conveyed to the ambassador the greetings and appreciation of Dr. Abdulaziz bin Moheiddin Khoja, Minister of Culture and Information, expressing pleasure to meet the ambassador, listen to his advice on and get advantage of his experience in the media and journalistic affairs. Abdullah Al-Hussein also gave an account to the ambassador on the outcome of the International News Agencies Council meeting held at the headquarters of the British News Agency in London to prepare for the 4th International News Agencies conference which will be hosted by SPA in 2013.
