The Director General of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein met today at SPA headquarters here, Georgia's Ambassador to Kuwait and its Non-Resident Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Ekaterine Meiering-Mikadze. During the meeting, SPA Director General briefed the Georgian Ambassador on Saudi Press Agency including its internal and external offices, activities, works, and orientations toward additional expansions to cover many areas around the world in the field of news (coverage). They also discussed aspects of cooperation between the national news agencies of the two countries to get information directly from the (main) source. The Ambassador toured the Kingdom's National News Agency including its internal and external editing desks; English and French News Departments and a Translation Desk; a Technical Control Center, and an Information Training Center. The Georgian Ambassador expressed her pleasure over the visit and what she had seen of SPA developmental strides. The meeting was attended by Director General of News Department Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Awadh, and Director of Technical Department Eng. Abdullah bin Safar Al-Ghamdi.
