Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Member States, has condemned the terrorist attack against Corporal Khalid Al-Enazi, employee in the Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Sana'a, and his Yemeni bodyguard. In a statement, Al-Zayani described the act as a terrorist attack which is against principals of Islam, diplomatic norms and international laws. The GCC Secretary General expressed his trust in the capabilities of the Yemeni security authorities in disclosing the motives behind this attack, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims as well as Saudi and Yemeni governments. He also stressed the GCC support towards any measure taken by the Yemeni government in order to establish security and stability in Yemen.
